It's miserable hot in this building. I pulled my mask down to put a piece of candy in my mouth for 2 seconds and the mask police came and fussed. Said there was a snacking and drinking area down the hall and I could go there should I want something. No if I need a drink of water.... I'm gonna drink I dehydrate very easily.i respect wearing them but if I pull it down for a moment and NO ONE IS AROUND ME it shouldn't matter. Or if my family Is around me. Period. I don't know that we will be back. Its been a good year and a half since I've been here and NOTHING...NOTHING has changed. Same sand machine is still broken.... disappointed is an understatement

Overall great experience. Very friendly people, signs clearly stated where we were and had lots of information. Very clean. The male employee in the gift shop was very polite and helpful as well. I would definitely return for another visit if I come back to Charlotte.

Great place, we spent half a day there and still didn't see everything. If we lived in Charlotte we would probably get the subscription. both my 2 year old and my 7 year old had a really great time. lots to do and see there. highly recommended

Love this place! So much fun for my 5 year old and adults! Lots of variety in the exhibits and lots of great things to learn. Will definitely come back!

Disappointed that they were still requiring masks as no other businesses are. It really put a damper on our visit as we didn't know we were going to have to wear them until we had paid to park and got to the ticket desk. Several of the exhibits were out of order. Definitely geared more toward kids. The small aquarium section was cool.
